Bored of making the same old bhaji? Don’t have any vegetables at home? No mood for cooking today? 😑 Want to save time for your next TV drama episode or simply feeling too lazy? 😴Don’t panic- Bajar Aamti is here to save you! This protein-rich curry is made from a mix of 3 types of dals, offering a delicious and nourishing meal.
Bajar or Bajari means "market," and Amti refers to "curry." Originating from Karkamb village in Pandharpur taluka, this authentic recipe has been popular for decades. Traders visiting Solapur markets would prepare this wholesome dish by combining different lentils. The taste of this Amti is absolutely delightful, making it an instant favorite, which is why it became known as Bajar Amti.
It’s also ready to cook—just add water and enjoy the traditional flavors of Solapur!
